"I've been in most of the hotels in unterschleisheim, this is the one I like to stay in. The rooms are average, but then they are also average even in the 5 star hotels in the area ... what makes this stay out, is the restaurant .. in some of the other hotels, they've got burgers, which are basically McDonalds type ... here they have a real meny, with deserts, and anything from duck, fish to beef. You will not be disappointed, eating here ... and the service, its exceptional, just like a service should be in a landgasthof, or an english inn. This is where you want to stay, when visiting.. "Die meisten Restaurants haben Montag Abend geschlossen, nicht aber das Porto Pino - dies war auch der Grund unseres Besuches. Die Atmosphäre ist wohltuend unaufgeregt, der Service unaufdringlich und freundlich. Zur Vorspeise bestellten wir ein sehr leckeres Vitello Tonnato und Bruschette. Gefolgt von Pizza Sardegna, Lasagne, Penne Arrabiata und Calamari livornese. Alles geschmacklich gut und Grund solide - ohne kulinarische Höhenflüge. Alles in allem ein stimmiger Abend, unaufgeregt und solide."

"Samstag Abend - 19:00 Uhr - mit 6 Personen geht nur mit Anmeldung.Restaurant war voll. Büffet wurde frisch ständig nachgefüllt. Büffet wurde auch immer wieder sichtbar geputzt. Alle Speisen haben ihren eigenen Geschmack gehabt.Wir kommen wieder.Personal sehr flink und freundlich."

"If you're after authentic south Italian food this is your place. This family run restaurant offers calabrese cuisine at its best with a focus on freshest quality ingredients. All pasta except Spaghetti and Penne is homemade.The owner is handling the service while his wife runs the kitchen. Both are extremely friendly and make you feel at home immediately.So obviously don't miss the pasta, or ask for the fish options (frequently wild catch) and for the dessert my recommendation is their tartufo directly imported from Calabria. Yummie!BTW, they offer 1 and 2-course lunches at 7 and 12€ resp. which are definitely worth it."
