"No denying the food is tasty at this beachfront shack in Varca. And the price is certainly right. But slow and rude service is a major turn-off, especially when good food abounds from countless places here in India. Not sure how they can be so slow when not even busy. Or how they can maintain hygiene standards in light of the stray dogs and filthy bathroom-the bathroom is an outhouse shack which reeks of fermented excrement. Would I go there again? Absolutely. But only if the Sea Pearls restaurante next door is too crowded."

"We stayed in varca for 2 weeks and our housekeepers husband owns this take away so if we couldnt be botherd to go out we just orderd a takeaway . the food is great and very cheap the tikka is really tasty and so are the nan, delivery was very quick."

"We have been to Goa for the last 14 years and have tried many restaurants and shacks, both in the North and South, and this was as good as any and better than most.The food was excellent, whether Indian, continental or chinese. My wife doesn't eat spicy food, and had no problem with the food, as it was cooked to her taste, nothing was too much trouble.I can recommend the Tandoor Shark and Tiger Prawns and the wife loved the various pastas, staeks and fish. Also, as she has a sweet tooth, she tried all the sweets and said they were delicious.The brandy (free) at the end of the meal was the icing on the cake (I am not refering to a sweet).The service was great, as fast or as slow as you asked, the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you and really appreciated your custom which showed, both in the service, the price (far from expensive) anf the quality.If you are in the area, you must visit this restaurant, it's brilliant."

"We were staying in Le palms and not liking the food there at all. By chance I was searching for a bike and dropped in at RELISH. these people arranged for a bike & in the mean while I tried something (because they were insisting). Immediately I decided to come back with my family. We had our dinner here. It was fantastic. You get personal attention here. They show u fresh fish & get it cooked as per your taste. Our kids enjoyed garlic butter fish a lot. After that every day we had our lunch & dinner in RELlSH. Rates our also very reasonable. I will definitely recommend RELISH & would like to come again whenever we come next.Dr.Amit Baranwal"

"2nd trip when we used Eddies as our base most days. Also went there for a couple of evening meals and the curries and seafood come highly recommended.Because of many problems with sun beds this year Eddie put his back off the beach but still overlooking it, not quite as good as being on the beach but all that could be done given the decision made by Goas tourist minister."
