"Booking was simply made online. The restaurant was not overly busy, but the service was slow and a little unorganized by training. Meals were beautifully presented, but dietary poisoning by the pork ribs later in the evening. Contact the restaurant to advise to prevent other diners from having an uncomfortable and never had an answer."

"Bought a fish cake and chips. The chips were passable only because they weren't the cheapest variety. The fish cake was very salty. Lots of raw onion and very, very little fish. The crumb was a redeeming quality. It was a nice crumb. If only they could get the inside right."

"This is a pretty corner ngl. Good chips cheese and gravy, it's pretty yummy. Would recommend highly, if you're ever around the block make sure you get the chips cheese and gravy and a coke."

"Staff are a bit hit and miss, but for the most part are pretty great. Food is also a bit hit and miss. We had a variety of meals at our table. Some were very happy, some were merely satisfied, others were not happy at all. Costing is reasonable."

"We had Mother’s Day lunch at Goosies. Service was good at the bar and wait staff. The biggest and most important downfall was some of the food. 3/4 of an hour into the lunch period there was only one roast meat to choose from 3 available. Ran out of the other 2. Veggie serves per person were all over the place size wise. Chicken snitzles and chicken parmigiana are no longer fresh they are pieces of frozen chicken about 1 to 2 centimetres thick and very small in size and not enjoyed by those that ordered them. Prize drawers are now so much smaller in numbers then they used to be in numbers. What is going on? Will not be thinking of coming back to soon or recommending Goosies ti others if their is the cuts they are making but charging the same or more. Disappointed for sure ti what it was . Will be going elsewhere for value to money ."

"Have seen this place but never tried it. So today we decided to see what it was all about. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted at the door by a very polite young gentleman. The service was friendly and patient as i took forever to decide. Relaxed atmosphere. Each dish cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes. Recommended to anyone looking for a decent meal."
