"My young daughter has a special place in her stomach and heart for Whole Foods. She insist that we visit locations whenever we travel. Well we visited the H St. NE Wash, DC location and we were pleasantly surprised while at the hot food bar. We asked Kelly, an employee/I'm sure a manager, what type of white fish was being served. That question lead to me telling Kelly how my daughter was just so thrilled to be visiting the store today and how she loves the hot food bar. I also explained how she likes to visit every store she can. After we walked away Kelly came over to us and offered my daughter to select a complimentary treat from the desert case. Kelly, you are a class act and a wonderful representation of Whole Foods! Thank you for joining in on my daughter's excitement and making it an exceptionally wonderful time for her. I will now make it a point to shop at Whole Foods. You've gained a new regular customer. Just goes to show there are still good people and quality staff definitely enhance any brand!. "A really nice place for lunch. The service was great and my friend and I really enjoyed our food. My lamb burger was large, juicy, and delicious and my friend enjoyed her Mediterranean salad. Nice and clean, tables not too close together, so we felt very comfortable dining in. And beautiful fresh flowers at every table."

"I did not have a reservation And they were still able to sit me at the bar. The wine was good!! The Tuna Carpaccio I had was so good I went on for a taste and ate it all before I took photos(sorry). Everyone around me seemed to enjoy their food. I could hear them all complimenting the food."

"If you visit DC, you may come through Union Station. If so, you MUST go to the food court in the basement of Union Station, and search until you find Sunrise Caribbean. You will have trouble finding it at first, because it hides in a weird part of the food court. But when you find it, you will thank me for writing this post! Sunrise Caribbean always has some faux meat dish such as vegetarian stir fry, which actually means delicious sweet and spicy faux chicken mixed with vegetables . It also sometimes serves vegan mac n' cheese! In any case, it will have plentiful delicious Trinidadian style vegetable side dishes! Very vegan friendly, huge quantities of food, delicious, smells great, tastes great, fills you up. You will feel like you have really begun your DC trip off to a good start if you eat here on your way through Union Station!"
