"It was our first time here. I wish we would have taken photos of the food before we plowed into it. My wife and I ordered Reuben and RLT sandwiches, with onion rings and fries. We shared them. The sandwiches were really big and tasted great! The onion rings were some of the best I've had in a while, and the fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our waitress was very efficient, friendly, and attentive. We will definitely be back here to try more things on the menu. We were very impressed with the portion size and choices on the menu. We would highly recommend this to anyone going to Waxhaw for a nice, relaxing afternoon."

"I've been to multiple locations across the US my favorite locations are the Waxhaw, both locations in New Orleans the Hoover location in Alabama are my absolute favorite. If you want BBQ that you didn't make go to Moe's Original BBQ. The sides change daily so it always fresh. The smoked wings are my absolute favorite."

"Emmets is a unique experience and wonderful treat! Your small plates come out as ordered and are great for exchange among small groups. For larger groups plan to order several to share the table. Incredibly unique dishes and well prepared dishes, the food is delicious and a fun experience in and from itself. Especially we enjoyed the wings, nachos and Tritip. Service was amazing. We were originally sitting in a side room and it was unbearable. When we asked to move the waitress who was obligated and friendly. The entire environment is electric and intimate for a delightful evening of great food, drinks and entertainment. Very recommended, please see some records we enjoyed on the photos"

"Called in during hours when the kitchen it open for some food. We got the seared tuna sandwich and crab cake sandwich. Then seared tuna is great if you're a sushi person. It seemed pretty fresh and the lady was nice to me when she said she would swap my side for potato salad when I told her I was craving it. They offer a variety of fresh meats and fish as well. Some fresh new things weekly."
