"In a living area of Griffintown there is plenty of space inside and a large terrace. The place was quite empty when we left on Sunday night. The best was the incredibly friendly service. You have a wide selection of your own... Craft beers, we really have the ones we tried. Food, mostly burgers, poutins and sandwiches, was also quite good."

"This little jewel has been back for decades and after the retiring and closing of the place the same owners came back and reopened about 2 years later, retired to the joy of their many loyal customers. This is a small elegant resto. in a quiet corner of Westmount with small traditional menu and daily specialties. Everything is always fresh, portions are generous, foods are ready, perfection and not overly complicated, but rather traditional and straight forward, service is excellent, prices are very reasonable for quality served. My friend had the daily fish speciality and I had made at home Spinat ricotta ravioli in a house made sauce that was excellent."

"Our table was at the bottom of a flight of stairs with waiters going up and down. We waited 25 minutes to order drinks, waiter seemed rushed. Wrong appetizer served. The food was good."

"Used to go for sushi lunches at Kaizen on St. Catherine, but when they closed, I was introduced to Kashima. Enter through a door you could easily miss on Greene Avenue, head up a long set of stairs, and there you will find a quiet...and simple sushi restaurant that offers great meals at reasonable prices. I've only been there for lunches, but I imagine it would be nice for dinner too."

"Made reservations for 4 people for my daughter's Birthday. Arrived on time was told our table would be available in a few minutes. The hostess was definitatly inexperienced. Empty table was being held for a party of 6. Later our table became available but now was being held for a party of 7. Hostess apologized she had made a mistake. What is the point of making a reservations for an occasion only to be bumped. After waiting half an hour we left. Management get your act together the place looked very unorganized.We won't be back and will not recommend."

"Firstly, I have been coming regularly to this Gentile location since it opened and have always had a pleasant experience. The food/drinks are amazing as well as the service. However, today I went during lunchtime to order a salad for takeout. After 15 minutes passed,...I got up from the bar to politely ask one of the baristas the status of my order. (shorter guy, thin, dark hair, tan skin). He said it will be ready soon. He comes back 3 minutes later and tells me the same thing, so I told him nearly 20 minutes has passed and I just wanted to know how much longer it will be since I had to get back to work. I have done takeout several times and it never took this long, especially for one salad. He rudely replied that it has only been 12 minutes and claimed he knows exactly what time I ordered. Two minutes later, he comes back with my food and waves the bill right in my face claiming that it has not been 20 minutes and pointing with his finger at the alleged time I ordered my food... it had been 18 minutes. This type of service is not expected at an establishment where I am paying $20+ for a salad.. I remained polite despite his snarky and smart-ass attitude. My colleagues, friends and I are regulars and will still give this location a chance based on our other experiences being great. But please take note for the sake of your other clients that this type of unprovoked behaviour towards clientele in such an establishment is NOT acceptable."

"Had a hot chicken made with chopped up pressed meat. Beer selection is minimal. Was lunchtime on Sunday and it wasn't busy. Great place to warch sports on the big screen and drink Molson Ex. Is this the same chain as the Cage Aux Sports? Different name..."
