"Pleasantly surprised. When they brought the nachos, they were made with flour tortillas instead of corn and they seemed soft because of the nature of the beast. But two of us made a meal from the nachos. They tasted great and were a full of meat and beans and cheese with guacamole. Good job! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"3/18 3/15: gas was $3.77 per gallon for regular unleaded. Lots of parking at this location. The patrons here are very thoughtful in that they get gas and usually park. Delicious brisket, flavorful beef jerky a spicy and mild) and sausage on a stick wrapped in a tortilla. It speaks that I spent more inside the store than at the pump $67 vs $56). I highly recommend it. It was our fill-up going to Port Aransas from Houston and back. It is a very full gas station so be prepared. Another 5 star Buc-ee’s location and experience. The pulled pork sandwiches and sausages wrapped in a tortilla were delicious! The soda mix of carbonation and flavor was on point! Location was very clean especially the bathrooms. Gas is reasonably priced! Looking forward to the roadtrip from Port Aransas back to Houston to stop off this Buc-ee’s! 3/19/2021: Came back on the drive back home. Still a 5 star experience. Clean bathrooms, cold Icee and great soda."

"Let me start off with this place is awesome from the customer service to the grub itself. The gentleman working on 07/08/22 did their jobs to the fullest. My family and I couldn 't figure out what was for dinner after a hard day of moving my dad and the golden chick was on the way outta town and we stopped as we had never ate at this chicken place before. We all decided we wanted chicken strips so we got a 25 piece family meal with sides and some tea. The price was something you couldn 't pass up unless you were making chicken at home. Then let me tell you they have this sauce there that 's signature called zing sauce. We didn 't know what it was so we asked for details and then through the speaker I heard tasting is believing . So we pulled up to the window and got to give it a try. Boy that sauce is the business. At the window we met the coolest drive thru guys ever. He was all about servein the customer. We made a 35 min drive home and proceeded to eat out dinner. The food was all still hot and fresh tasting. The French fries are them ones that have the good crunch to um and the mashed potatoes we thick and filling. The strips are so juicy and the spicy was that heat you want for spicy. The rolls are nice and sweet with a perfect golden crisp. If you like golden chick or if you have never tried it before and your in Wharton you need to stop by and give much respect. We were complete strangers and were treated like family. My family and I will definitely go back. Much luv my 7/08/22 evening crew."

"Very popular with the locals at lunchtime, always a good sign. I got the sliced beef sandwich, fries, and a drink…everything ala carte…total about $14. I used to think that was pricey but that’s the world we live in these days. It was delicious and portions were ample. I thought maybe the fries were a bit small at first but the sandwich is big enough that the fries were right. The staff was friendly and the crowd filled the place, although I had no trouble finding a table for one. It’s very small town-y, in a good way. Unpretentious. I was just passing through but if I lived nearby it would be a favorite place."
