"We were very excited about the quality and speed of the service in the early Sunday afternoon. we had about 1 hour to eat before our bus comes home. the woman we spoke with, gave us advice to the fastest and they arrived very quickly. the visit to this pub was a great opportunity to finish our walk on the land. highly recommended."

"Some of the best takeaway fish and chips I've ever eaten. they are freshly cooked to order, and both the fish and the chips are high quality. the standard proportions are very generous and give excellent value for money. Crisp batteries and cracky chips that don't go limp before they get them home. they have created a covid safe environment with calm professionalism and efficient procedures. sometimes you have to wait, but that’s because they cook everything fresh, with nothing sitting “warm hold” I like to drive the 5 miles of bruton for my Friday look and go to the end of the session if it’s less busy. lately, they have ensured that their packaging paper is based and recyclable by selling robust paper carrier bags for 10p that can be reused."
