"Sat at the bar for lunch. I got a two maki roll lunch special and an order of pan fried gyoza. Salad that came with the lunch was great. Sweet and simple, good size and really good ginger dressing. Sushi was very good, rolled nicely so it didn't break apart picking it up, and fresh. Gyoza was spot on. I think I enjoyed them most of all. They were perfectly seared with a little crunch on the folded side of the dumpling, not sure how else to phrase that. The girl tending bar was super nice, always checked in and refilled my drink without having to ask. Overall great spot I wouldn't have thought to go to without a friend mentioning it."

"Typically decent food served. They were a bit short -staffed on NYE with a busy place. Too long wait for drinks for sure. Steak was only fair, as it was not warm and the mushroom sauce had no mushrooms. Waitress did the best she could. For $200+ for party of 3, could be better value."

"Birthday party for a member of our party- nice touch of boss/woman to spell birthday in chocolate sauce to her cake and to decorate a candle for the birthday child. a part of the experience was the extremely slow food service. fortunately we were not in a hurry, but it took a long time to get our food especially sushi. we like to eat at Jacky’s - that was the slowest thing I have ever experienced."

"The decor is good, but it is almost windowless. The bar is beautiful. The menu is great, also sushi good, but really the food quality is bad. Soups are easy. Dinner is much better."

"My first visit to Azalea Asian restaurant. There was a very nice variety of options both traditional and non-traditional foods. A very nice mix of both hot and cold appetizers. They also had a nice set of soup options to choose from. I did not end up trying any this visit. The sushi options listed noted with a little pepper those that are the hottest. I tried the Cumbland Roll and the Godzilla roll. The Godzilla roll included the mashed spicy tuna with a nice eel and light sauce on top. Now the Cumberland roll is something I would come back to have again. The shrimp tempura was lightly fried with a firmness. The mango was soft and slightly sweet. The sauce on top was a Very nice blend. It had the sweet chili blended in to give a bit of heat. I usually dip my sushi in a mix of soy, ginger, and Wasabi. Today? No need with this roll!! Super Tasty!! The service was quick and the servers courteous and friendly. I also appreciated being able to gaze at the fish tank while I dined solo. The water was clear and clean (a very good sign in a restaurant) #RockFromRI"
