"The service was great. I couldn't ask for better. The food, on the other hand, was disappointing. I really hate saying that, but there it is. I had the half chicken. I expect smoked chicken to be pink. Don't let the color put you off. Having said that,mine was undercooked. I admit I like my chicken fairly well cooked. You might like it. My niece had the Monte Cristo, and ithad a fried chicken kind of coating instead of egg, and tasted of fried chicken. She couldn't eat it. I tried it. It wasstrange. The other people there enjoyed their ribs and fried chicken. The plates are large, and looked sadly empty. I haven'tbeen there since the pandemic, and I remember it differently. Like so many places, perhaps the pandemic took it's toll. I don'twant to discourage anyone that wants to give Lucille's a try. For me, it won't be my first choice for BBQ next time."

"We went there on April 29 for my daughter's birthday had about 30 people our waiter Christopher was awesome he kept all of our orders correct, drinks filled , and was on top of it ,the food was delicious, I totally recommend. Lucille's to everyone"

"The food was not good at all. Waiters were extremely slow with services. The sad part is that it was not a busy night. Hardly anyone was there that night. Would never recommend this place- Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ in Torrance. However, I do like Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ in Long Beach. Great service. Great food. Always crowded. But not the case in Torrance, they don't live up to the Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ standards."
