"The restaurant wants more than it can. Outer effect hui, but the details ... At our last visit in January 2017, the entry was not so special. The parking lot was quite crowded and we came by a crowded man. But they weren't guests, but chefs. All the dark figures that were watching us all the time. That was a bad start. Overall, the restaurant can quickly see that the service is friendly, but not necessarily trained and partly overwhelmed. This was also due to the reduction of service personnel. So our main dish was relatively fast on the table, but it was cleared after 20 minutes. This is unfortunate and only to be attributed to the reduction. The bread was in a tasty bowl. There was no greeting from the kitchen. All well-preserved in a restaurant where we paid to 2 150,00 EUR without bottle of wine. The main course of a filetsteak medium was unfortunately completely ruined for my wife. She spread with anticipation Sauce Hollandaise on the meat until she realized that the sauce was cold. Our friendly complaint was rejected with the words: The egg in the sauce is freshly opened and this sauce cannot be heated. AHA! After a long wait the steak was now cold) came a slightly heated sauce. That's all I can do. By the way, the sauce was not really nice. As it goes right in a price class 150,00 EUR upwards for two people) show other restaurants with style and class, trained professionals and lasting quality: Anabelas Restaurant in Charlottenburg E.T.A. Hoffmann Duke im Ellington Hotel Diekmann in Wilmersdorf This is just another class! We were already in the Englers in 2015 and just wanted to try again, even because it is close to us. It was the last time."

"This is a fun restaurant in a great location with good prices. It's a mixed menu but none the worse for that. If you go expecting a traditonal Italian or German specialities then you could end up dissapointed, if instead you enjoy variations on classics...from different places then you will have a great time. The pasta was well flavoured and tasty, the meat dishes well prepared and generous. Although we did not try anything sweet they too looked wonderful. On top of that everythign is so friendly and relaxed it is just a really fun place to be. Worth checking out."
