"Last month went for dinner to Leo and was so impressed that decided to try Misia. To start with, asked about the fish in ceviche, was told that It was tilapia but not to worry that it was certified tilapia. I was surprised that they...would use tilapia for such a reputable chef's outlet. We had the canasta frito, delicious! specially the arepa de huevo. Next had the chicharron with tahini, this was not very good, it was dry and chewy. For main asked for the corvina, it was pretty good, a little more sauce would have made it outstanding, we were not sure it was corvina since it was a thick piece and was not as white as corvina, to me it seemed like dorado, nevertheless it was good. We also had the lomo de res, it was good. Service was good, the maître/manager Arelys was excellent, rest of service was ok. The restaurant was full so it took a while for food to arrive. We had the flan de leche, it was ok. Overall a solid place, somewhat overpriced for what it offers. Un fortunately, will not return."

"Delicioso! Fui con mi esposo y los dos quedamos encantados, el servicio A1 y la calidad de los platos realmente bueno, nos gustó tanto que decidimos volver a los dos días, cada plato nuevo era simplemente espectacular, el personal muy amable y atento. Buena atención.Pd: Deberían tener más variedad de vinos."

"Resting – what do I say? – sleeping on its laurels… First impression: an unpleasant fish smell in the lobby of the restaurant, which doesn´t bode that well for a place putting forward its ceviches… Very few customers for a Friday night in an old-fashioned and slightly boring room. Well, that would not have been a problem for us if the food has been up to our (reasonable expectations. Alas! The ceviche was at the very best average (absolutely not spicy, not lemony either, actually hardly any taste at all… , with a serious suspicion regarding the freshness of the fish. The lomo saltado? Ordinary as well, its only originality being a few points of green rot on the tomatoes, a particularity that didn´t seem to excessively concern the waiter when alerted over this issue… Not to mention the service, with a condescending waiter not exactly ready to improve our dining experience and to the limit of incorrectness with my wife… All in all, a great disappointment, as this is supposedly the oldest ambassador of Peruvian gastronomy in Bogotá. Anecdotally, we had all but forgotten this “adventure” (our visit to Mi peru is a few months old , until tonight: dining in a famous Ribs place in the Zona G of Bogotá, we happened to sit next to the table of the owner of Mi Peru (not sure how often he actually is in his kitchen but tonight he apparently preferred somebody else’s food… . His shockingly unrespectful and obnoxious behavior with the staff of the restaurant reminded us of the necessity to write a review about this terrible experience."
