"My husband and I had breakfast at Slacks Tracks. It's only a small place, but the food is really good. Have been for lunch here before as well. Nice variety of food and by all accounts what we have sampled has been very enjoyable :-)"

"All parts of the order were a problem. pancakes were cold, no syrups, egg shell in sausage and a muffin, a drink over filled and spilled everywhere and ice cream only full!"

"Fantastic breakfast place! We came here on Easter Monday at 10 so it was very crowded. We waited 15 mins for a table of 2. I ordered the vegan pancakes and my friend ordered the easter special- waffle french toast with loads of chocolate. The pancakes were pretty good (3.5/5) but were really tough and chewy. The icecream was amazing- couldn't even tell it was vegan! (4.5/5) The waffle french toast was OMG amazing (5/5) The french toast was oh so soft and the same coconut icecream was used :)"

"Went on a little pie crawl and our first stop was Muzza's Gourmet) Pies in Coorparoo. Their best sellers are reportedly the various chunky steak options, but we were also recommended the chicken, brie asparagus pie $6), and that's what we went with. The boy wanted a party pie $2) so we got one of those too. Verdict: kinda wished we went with a chunky steak option instead, cos this chicken pie, whilst an ok choice, wasn't a real standout. The brie wasn't too obvious, but then again I guess it's not a strong cheese to begin with. The pastry itself was pretty good flaky top and sides/base not too dense. With all pies at $6 or less, I'd be happy to return and try some other flavours."

"My parents normally go out to Brekky on Saturdays and a few weekends ago I decided to join them. Riverbend Cafe was absolutely packed!! We were lucky to get a table. <br>
There is so much variety on the menu, it was so hard to choose!! I ended up having the spicy caramelised mushrooms, with avo instead of eggs and a side of tomato. It came with a massive slice of sourdough which was super great with the avo and tomato. The mushrooms weren't super duper spicy but they were flavourful and yummy!! I also had an orange juice which was so sweet! <br>
Overall, my meal was great and my parents loved their meals as well. The cafe also does really good milkshakes and coffees. <br>

After brekky, I had a quick (it was actually more like a half hour!) look in the book store as well and ended up getting a book, yay!! <br>

I will definitely come with my parents when they visit Riverbend Cafe again, there's so many things I want to try on the menu!!<br>

Update: We returned once again for breakfast this morning, I planned on having the bircher muesli but on arrival found it is pre-made with milk :( Never fear! The kind staff offered to make me the ratatouille as vegan. It was lovely, the flavours were delicious and the baba ghanoush that came with was just as good!! My mum enjoyed the croque madame and my dad loved the vanilla bean risotto. Kudos to the chefs who were kind and accomodating to my dietary needs."

"Not much to say. it is a normal part of the coffee club franchise. earlier regularly when they were to open the first on the road. but our favorite waiter no longer works there and my buddy and I don't make 6 o'clock breakfast. would choose another place in which rule how I prefer small businesses."

"I believe that this café should be a new born baby in Mt Gravatt. Location is slightly disadvantage at the back of those shops facing Logan Road. However, if you are smart enough, the bonus is the ample parking in front of the café. Set-up shows the character of the café and my flat white came in with nice coffee art and lovely blue colour cup that refreshed my mind from late night due to gathering. Tried my first savoury crepe with ham & cheese. It was a good choice. The light yellowish colour of the crepe with a small mint leaf on the top kick-started my appetite. Taste was delicious with overall very fine texture. My gut feeling is that this café should have the potential due to the fact that you can feel the passions from the staff & owner. Cheer up!"
