"I was not sure if I should write this review, but have seen three recent posts on tripadvisor that our experience in this caffe was unfortunately not unique. it seems that the employees do not have any idea what customer service exists, but the eye rolling, sniffing and pulling. faces behind someone (but unfortunately for them, I observed), is acceptable for them. this caffe should be a wonderful place. it has a great location and no immediate competition, but it is quite ashamed (for a new building) and that eating is moderate. a pleasant greeting costs nothing other than the personal who has taken over minutes to prepare coffee when it does not need more than customers at the place to focus a little more on efficiency than on taking the mice from their customers who have simply asked about their order or beaten their money or look a little different / sound. immature, pathetic and open not worthy of our habit."

"Eating is too expensive. tiny manager is passiw aggressiw. other reviews on various platforms will review this oh and it from above, they have a hidden service fee (that they don't tell them) I am today and old I am am am astonished people yet try this 1970s money-growing tactics still. will not recommend or return"

"A perfectly situated station for those living nearby, though the access arrangements on the Lichfield side could definitely be improved I don't like having to share the narrow roadway with cars jostling for position. Now that elevators are being installed, access for disabled passengers should be improved substantially. :"

"Sitting outside, I glanced over at the bigger breakfast that was served on my neighbour's table. That's a lot of breakfast I thought. More a food challenge without the cheap winners t-shirt prize. It looked awesome: 2 bacon, a cumberland sausage, three hash browns, 2 slices of fried bread, grilled tomato, beans, mushrooms, black pudding and 2 fried eggs. My stomach was still recovering from the enslaught of cheese I had for yesterday's lunch. Else the bigger breakfast it would have been (a steal at £10). Instead an oat milk flat white was all I needed to calm the belly and warm the hands. The female staff members were attentive and humble. The rate at which breakfasts flew out of the kitchen onto peoples tables was reflective of a well run cafe. It may have been cold, but I enjoyed relaxing outside amongst the Lichfield revelers on Bird Street. As always I headed onwards to The Cheese Cavern to fill my bike's luggage compartments with France's finest."
