"Just picked up from Si S Express, have been going for years. I noticed the chips, sopapia and corn tortillas on flautas seemed as though cooked in an air fryer?? Definitely different than usual I think, didn't seem fried. Though that's a healthy option, does not keep the flavor of authentic Mexican food, rather bland. Not sure if I'll continue here if this is a new way of serving for them. Sorry SSE really like your food."

"This is still the outstanding Mexican Food I remembered from our last cross country road trip. The chicken enchiladas, chili rellanos, and tamales were absolutely delicious! The food is skittle spicy so beware. The green sauce is less spicy than the red. Love this place!!!"

"Great little local restaurant! I always get the flautas, but beware they are huge, more like a burrito. First time visiting I made the mistake of thinking they were typical size and ordered 4, when 2 with the beans and rice is more than most can eat. Highly recommend."

"This place is very hit or miss on service and food quality. It is definitely not as good as it used to be. They now charge you for drink refills to start with. The salsa is typically very watery and bland as if they added water to everything to stretch it out further. They usually give you four different salsa/dips, but a lot of times they are out of one, and they got our order wrong....AGAIN!! We ordered green chile con carne with the combination plate...they brought us red. I ordered the ceviche tostadas because they are usually ok...they were covered in mayonnaise. Not sure what that was about. They have never came out like that before. The best part of the entire meal was the raspberry ice tea. So after scraping all the red chile off of one plate and mayo off of the other, we attempted to eat. We couldn't even hold a conversation due to four screaming children that were sat right next to us throwing food and utensils. We finally had enough, asked for our check, and left. Horrible service, horrible atmosphere, very disappointed in the food."

"The oldest man bartender automatically assumed i wanted 2 alcohol drinks per person and didn't confirm then my husband went to get me french fries because i wanted a snack and he told my husband he put a stop to it and to take his girl to circle k to get chips was rude as hell and this was my first time here."

"Husband and I have been regular patrons of Mi Pueblito since the Bravos/Holguins took ownership nearly 20 years ago. Courteous service, consistency of food preparation and portions (never a 'bad day ' or an unhappy surprise), and the best Gorditas ever! Also especially love their Chilaquiles for breakfast, red or green! This is my favorite 'Mom Pop ' restaurant in Las Cruces."
