"Food and drink are great here! Get the jackfruit tacos to start, they’re really delicious and spicy. We had the tofu rice bowl and chorizo chimichurri bowl, both of which were incredible. And then to finish, literally the best churros I have ever eaten. Really thick like proper donuts and nice and crispy on the outside, not oily at all! Served topped with cinnamon sugar and a coconut milk dolce Leche. Really great place, try it out!"

"Tasty, affordable (at least for now! and with a cute side patio if you want to be off of Bloor. Guac and salsa were yummy and had a slight twist to them. I had the huevos rancheros and friend had cactus tacos and we enjoyed our meals. I had a Paloma to drink and think it was a bit too grapefruit heavy/off-balance, but still a decent cocktail. It was a quiet evening when we went, service was friendly and attentive. Overall I'd say this is a great neighborhood spot and I'd go again!Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian plates, including multiple taco options (and I think vegan if you ask for no cheese ."

"My boyfriend and I went here for dinner last night. We live a few doors away and have always wanted to try it out. We arrived around 8pm on a saturday and it was in full swing. We wanted to sit outside as its summer and there is a patio. We had a short wait as the patio was full. We waited at the bar for 5 minutes with a nice cold beer. The vibe of the restaurant is very authentic none of that gimmick stuff you get in other mexican restaurants. It really felt like being in Mexico, we especially enjoyed the music being played. We had a nice table outside with lots of space. We decided to order from the $25 three course set menu. We both ordered different things so that we could share and try each others. The service was wonderful, what lovely staff so friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough and were so smiley. The food didn't come out too quick which was great as we didn't want to be rushed there was perfect time between each course. Really enjoyed the mussels to start so flavorful and the chicken tacos. They make the tortillas in house which sets up the flavor of the dish. For mains we had a beef steak dish and fish tacos, both really tasty, only down side is would have like more, but that's just us we can eat a lot. For dessert we both had the churros which were amazing. We loved our evening, such a nice vibe. Our bill came to $81 before tip for 3 courses and 5 beers which is pretty good. We will be back for sure."

"Lisa Marie is the Fidel Gastro restaurant located on Queen St. W. I was pumped that they took reservations for brunch, which is not the norm for many downtown brunch spots. There were many high tables and a few bench tables that were convenient for family with kids. The bar and paintings of the wall made for a hip atmosphere."

"This place recently opened up in Yorkville (on Church just south of Bloor).Stop in and check it out There aren't many options for great guacamole around and theirs is TOP NOTCH.. as well as the FRESH pico de gallo.I had a tasty burrito bowl. Others in my party enjoyed a Signature Chimichanga and a Grand Quesadilla.. We all cleaned our plates.. and service was attentive and friendly.Also, don't be scared off, if the place isn't packed.. Sit down and enjoy.."

"We were a group of it was unanimous that we would come back again. Our dinners varied from beef tongue, shrimp in rice, chicken, beef tacos, chicken tacos (not pictured) meat appetizer platter (not pictured). Good portions, as you can see and...all tasted great. Its super casual with picnic tables, small intimate space. Tried calling to reserve but the answering machine was generic (does not mention restaurant name) and they did not receive our message. Good thing they had room for us!"
