"Fussläufig vom S-Bahnhof Lichterfelde-Ost liegt das Restaurant. Die Ausstattung ist einfach. Das Lokal und die Toiletten sind sauber und im Sommer kann man im Biergarten speisen. Die Preise sind moderat. Die Fleischgerichte sind üppig, schmecken gut und machen auch Handwerker statt. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Dass man hier gut isst, wissen viele, weshalb auch am späten Mittag so ab 14 Uhr oft viele Tische besetzt sind. Achtung der Zugang erfolgt über einige Treppenstufen."

"We went there on a family dinner and it was amazing. The waiters were very friendly and lively, the food was delicious and the decoration of the place was beautiful and cozy. I think it’s the best ‘typical German restaurant’ in town. I recommend it,...specially for foreigners that are traveling and want to try typical German food. It’s way better than the ones at city center."

"We visited this beautiful little pub-style restaurant twice. Once for a quick drink in the evening and once for lunch. Our evening visit was quite short as we did not eat and they closed at 9.30 a.m. at night, but the service was friendly and we were trying to return for lunch the following day. As the middle of the Spargle season, it seemed a good idea to go for it. Within a minute or so the order was made a beautiful bowl of soup as an appetizer and the main course, Spargle in hollandaise sauce / potatoes and a piece of pineapple, a few minutes after the soup arrived. All parts of the meal were well prepared and delicious. My only crumb is that they only accepted cash, it would have been more convenient to pay for two meals with the card. That said everything was very cheap."

"Good, rustic cuisine. Always delicious so far and good selection. A great beer garden, right on the panoramic bike path but also a great go sale of coffee (and small things). Now for the Corona period only sale of drinks to take away. Large parking right in front of the restaurant."
