"Disappointing. This is my favorite venue and it really did not meet expectations. First, the table near the bushes was buggy, and we were bitten by mosquitos. Second, the food came very slow. This was a mid-week late night dinner, and it was not at all busy. The appetizers took more than 45 mins to come out, and then the main course another 30. We only ordered very simple items, and felt like we were waiting and waiting for our food. We were served water often which was nice, but only bread one time and not offered any additional bread than once. We also waited for the check while our server was chatting in the corner. For a Jean Georges restaurant, the overall night was disappointing. The food was delicious, as it always is, but I'm not planning to return for a long while. Sorry."
