"Booked a table last night on The Fork for 21h00 tonight. Got a message left on my voicemail to ask if we could change to 21h15. Having read some of the reviews, I called back and asked why. I was told they were too busy. When I asked if it was really going to be 21h15 (my husband is diabetic so we need to monitor what and when he eats), the response was rather evasive. I didn't argue over the phone but proceeded to cancel my booking with The Fork and went somewhere else as I didn't have a good feeling about the place. I then went straight back on to try and book a table for 21h00 ( I obviously didn't proceed, just wanted to test) and it was available!! A real shame for the chef who is obviously very talented, but front of house is definitely a no go area. If you can't organize your bookings, don't accept them."
