"During August many restaurants are closed in France. I am on holiday here in Pontoise and on Saturday my French partner and I went to L'audience for a meal. The melon with port was just half a melon on a plate which hadn't been prepared for eating and wasn't ripe. I ordered moules a la creme which were only luke warm and most mussels not even open. I was horrified by a terrible smell which made me feel sick. I was unable to continue to eat my meal because the smell was coming from the plate of my partner and clearly his fish was very off. The wine was boring and the service very cool and not very friendly. We decided then to ask for the bill and left very disappointed."
