"For much needed lunch en route south. it was a Thursday and rammed with trainer parties from inn French! although a table then shown without menu .went in to find the person that placed us, but it was on the phone. menu. secured, but no order. a girl who served our opponent, asked for help, but said it was to her colleague. After a few minutes we wait! Luckily the small boathouse had served by a lovely young lady .saved the day! about the bridge in the city .rather twee and missing reality we discovered several reasonably looking places .pity we missed them, as the main street there is little away that there were restaurants there! give this restaurant a miss and the city?"

"Après une petite balade sur le marais Poitevin il était temps de se restaurer et quelle bonne surprise avec cette auberge !La terrasse est de rigueur avec un temps estival, très jolie, au bord de l'eau, ombragée à souhait, des tables bien espacées, dépaysante.Le repas : apéritif maison (frais et désaltérant), 3 menus à 30€ (je recommande cette formule) des choix très intéressants avec ce menu. Terrine de foie gras , excellente, deux filets de sandre et risotto (avec une sauce légèrement vanillée, une tuerie) un magret de canard avec accompagnement (excellent lui aussi).Les cuissons sont parfaites, les quantités sont très bien dosées et le service est à la hauteur, un vrai plaisir cette auberge. Le café gourmand est bien ficelé, le craquant aux fraises est généreux et l'assiette de fromage est sympa (fromages à température, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas !).A tester sans crainte, je recommande cet établissement !!!"
