"I would really like this restaurant to succeed because it is local, but i suspect they are feeling the pinch like all restaurants in these post covid times.It seems to have a bit of a personality complex as they advertise themselves as a Gastronomique Restaurant but in fact their menu has course meals for or even more. They also advertise Pizzas which were not available on the night we arrived. i suspect they are offering cheaper/simpler menus to be able to compete in these difficult times.First of all the restaurant is situated in a really nice hill top restaurant in Bessas maybe miles from Barjac. We had the menu and well, it just didnt sparkle. We went for Charcuterie for the starter which was ok but a bit standard', my partners steak was quite fatty (normal enough in France) and we had Faissell' which we think is a local dessert which was just too watery.The service was very slow, it took us nearly hours from arrival to finish.We will try them again, as we would like to see the succeed, but i think they need to decide what type of restaurant they are.."
