"Very buzzy place, bang in happening centre of town on edge of river. Wonderful food, formal but not over the top. Had the softest sweetest beef cheeks on the smoothest mad ever and a wonderful risotto to start- WOULD LOVE TO GO AGAIN!! They had a good kids menu and service was swift but not intrusive."

"This Sofitel bar is not inexpensive as you would expect but you do get treated well by the staff and the food is very good both across the bar and in other parts of the hotel. Late lunch was a steak sandwich and although I have foregone a monthly mortgage repayment it was the best steak sandwich I ever had. Odd place to find it but there you go. <br/>The bar itself has a nice feel with a great outlook day or night to the ANZAC memorial and park. It's a hotel bar sure..."

"Wow! What a fun night full of delicious food from start to finish. I was meeting my family there and had some trouble finding the place. The head chef and owner came out of the restaurant to find me!! He then brought me back to his beautiful restaurant and the moment I sat down, the laughs began. He is extremely hospitable and made us all laugh the whole night. Such an amazing view and the food!!! So good and so well priced. Perfect for a date or family and friends. Thanks for the amazing night La Vue!!"

"My husband, daughter and I basically went to Brisbane to eat at this restaurant. We were not disappointed. We chose the degustation menu . The salmon, lamb and dessert were my favourite courses. Staff were friendly , helpful,and the wine excellent.If you can make a visit."
