"Thai restaurant serving small dishes of high cuisine in a closed menu. The service is attentive, friendly and efficient. The first dishes or snacks, served on the floor below, are more interesting and fun than the main ones, which serve on the floor above. The floor below has an informal atmosphere with tables and low chairs, while the top floor has standard tables in an intimate setting. The experience on the top floor would benefit by having more light to enjoy the food also with the sense of view. Even though the dishes are very small, due to their high number, the sensation at the end is of satisfaction and full stomach. Although the food is good, it is well executed and the ingredients are of quality, I have rated this restaurant as normal for two reasons: the excessive slowness of the kitchen in taking out the dishes (in the end you just want to finish because you feel exhaustion of so much wait and pause); and the deorbit price even for Copenhagen, which makes the experience catch you. 200 euros for dinner a person with a beer, a glass of wine and water is not worth it in this restaurant. If you are an exquisite thai food and you want to try this experience, go ahead, but consider the contras listed above. If, on the contrary, you like the thai food of all life and want a Tom Kai soup or an abundant and traditional Pad Thai, this is definitely not your site."

"What a gem. Amazing food with friendly service and reminded me of when we visited the French vineyards and had home cooked meal with the families. Food was amazing and it was not expensive either. Well worth the travel from mid town."

"My wife and I had just finished a Sunday morning walk in Frederiksberg Park and we're looking for a light lunch. We discovered Le Gourmand on the one block long Varnedaamsvej off Federiksberg Alle. This little Francophile wine bar/charcuterie/wholesaler is a delight. We placed ourselves in the hands of Carsten, one of the charming owners. After sampling some of his suggestions, he fixed us one plate of cheeses and a plate of charcuterie. They were perfectly matched to the proper mustard, honey, or walnuts to bring out the best of each selection. He also matched a delightful white wine. The owners knowledge and passion for selecting only the best French products available made this a great food experience, not just a meal."

"I've eaten at Les trois cochons a lot a lot of times in the past, as I was living in the same building for 10+ years. Being back after a long period of living in another city, was such an amazing experience. The food is second to none and the service is as always attentive, buzzling and very comforting. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place..... Only point to improve is the acoustics, but it's on the other hand a part of the charme. /Peter Andreas"
