"Restaurant of the hotel Au Cœur du Village We had a seminar here and had a few meals in the restaurant. The food was in general fresh and well prepared, especially the deserts were very nice. Yet I was disappointed: A star house and...they are not capable of serving anything else to a vegetarian, but fish. Seemed to me the chef does not know what a vegetarian is eats. Maybe wikipedia can help... So I ate the fish three times. The first day they had even ignored the fact that there was a vegetarian in the group, but at least there they created a nice vegetable dish very quickly. Yet I had my meal when all the others were finished... So it was possible to cook something without fish!.. This makes it even worse, as it shows that the chef just chose for the easiest and not for the most customer friendly and service option... A disappointment and I will not be back. I felt very much ignored and not taken seriously. Unworthy for a restaurant that considers itself excellent."

"We went to this restaurant with the local friends and spent a lot of money:)) It was a school vacation weekend night during a ski season so the place (bar) was totally full with happy laughing and talking young crowd. We started in the bar and had several cocktails of a decent quality. French absinthe (Pernod) that we tried was 68%, I could not drink it (a rare thing for me :)). We finally moved to the restaurant 40 min after our reservation time. We ordered for 4 people two of each Saumon gravlax and Foie gras appetizers and they both were really great. For main courses we had Saumon au four, Entrecote metzger, and the two very hungry and tired from skiing men shared a huge Cote de boeuf (which would be good for 3 or 4 people by the way). Food was really good. Juicy meat was just perfect with its grass-fed taste and tenderness. We also had a bottle of Les Creisses and it was so good that we had to order another one. 8 drinks, 2 bottles of wine, 4 appetizers and 4 main courses came up to 356 euro, which I consider a steal at this quality!"
