"The ambience and the settings were perfect. As a lonely diner, the only table in the restaurant felt very professional, but it lacked personality with waiters in the corner. The flavors on the plate were so fresh and most were very well balanced. The armor was the best court. However, the broth was so good that the aromatized on the palate that the crab broth on the following plate seemed tender and could do with a little spice. The additional cheese course is too heavy for a person, but the spices like the fudge, nuts and honey were amazing. My bill was £250 for one and despite my picky notes it was worth the money and is easily a 1-star establishment."

"We still haven't stopped talking how amazing our meal was at casse croute and I don't think we'll stop for one thing! we spent a lot of time to decide which restaurants during our 3 days break in london to eat and. our thema was quite consistent. we wanted small, independent restaurants that offered something different and from the 3 restaurants we chose was casse croute by far the most authentic. it's a tiny restaurant on a street corner in bermondsey, blink and you could really miss it! go in and it's all checked tablecloths and caffeine of wein! from the minute we had set ourselves, we felt as if we were just as easy in the back of montmartre as in South London! the menu is over easy (when written in French) with only 3 options for each of starters, pornstars and desserts and a certain feeling when it is gone, it is away the waiters were more than happy to explain the different meal times and was pleased to hear my asking about a strange allergy (tomats) and even to change a sose so that I could have my desired main course. casse croute is an absolute gem of a restaurant that I would see next time in london! a word of advice, make sure that they book because it is a small restaurant and we saw some hopeful dunes turned out on spectacular!"

"Me and my boyfriend went to Story for our anniversary in the beginning of november. When we arrived we were greeted most graciously and guided to our table. We opted for the longer menu with the cocktail/wine pairing, including the white truffle optional dish. The food was very enjoyable and perfectly paired with the selection of drinks the sommelier had selected for us. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home right away. The sommelier also explained very detailed the wines to us, a lovely evening, we will return. From us to the whole team a big thankyou and till next time."
