"Même si le concept cave à vins/restauration tapas-charcuterie est bien connu, ô plaisir du goût tire son épingle du jeu par les produits de qualité que le patron propose et ses conseils sur les vins qui peuvent les accompagner. La charcuterie, les fromages, les plats et les desserts sont excellents. Peu à peu la carte s'étoffe et se renouvelle pour notre plus grand plaisir. En couple ou entre amis, les soirées sont toujours très appréciables. Et nous ne sommes jamais déçus !"

"Ok so I made a poor choice for my main course but I was so tempted by the entrecote even though I know in France this, their favourite cut of beef steak is always a hit or miss affair.....usually a big miss. Don't understand why...the French don't hang their meat long enough but entrecote is tough, chewy and gristley. So is it my fault for choosing it or theirs for not getting better meat? Ok so the whining over everyone at our table of four had a great lunch, lovely ambience, delightful pleasant service and great food choices ...mine excepted...the fois gras poele was best our table had ever eaten and the magret de canard Rossini similarly so. We all gave the place the thumbs up,andwould eat there again...just don't order entrecote!!"

"My wife and I had lunch here, close to La Grange and owned by the same people. Located right next to the upgraded market square, it is a large restaurant with a pleasant grass terrace and tables outside if you like al fresco dining. We...had a most unusual duck tartare and a superb escalope foie gras that was just seared correctly to enhance the flavour. The duck tartare was mixed with nuts which gave it a delightful crunchiness. For mains we had an entrecote and a magret canard which were really good. The portion sizes here are generous and both our main courses took quite a bit of eating. On the main menu was a salad which we saw arriving at the table next to us and was enormous. In fact, they asked if it was a small salad and were told it was. There was a menu du jour at which featured a grattan crustace, a sort of fish pate and a large pork chop plus dessert. Wines are reasonably priced – we had a very palatable rose at just This is a bustling restaurant with good service and pleasant waiting staff. Our meal cost just over not including drinks and we think this was good value for money. Well worth a visit."
