"For the value, I would give 3.5 but can't give half stars. I bumped the review because of the amazing service. I do miss the old location in Costa Mesa. Ambience of the location has a French café feel to it. With dim lighting, soft tablecloth, and open kitchen, the place is ideal for a date or an intimate celebration for a small party. I would recommend you get the seating outdoors to the left of the restaurant. Service is fantastic Staff is very knowledgeable. I really appreciate it how informative they were in terms of what was on the menu I felt that the appetizers were better than the entrée. Next time I would just stick with two or three appetizers. In our party of five, three out of five people felt the same way about appetizer being better than the entrées. Overall, I don't think this restaurant offers good value for what they charge. This place is ideal. If you're on a date and you want to press your guest."

"This is our favorite place in newport. Not only is the food exceptionally delicious. The entire staff is warm, friendly and give excellent service. Christina has been our waitress the last 2 times and we love her. The sommelier (dang i forgot his name- he clearly does his job well is not only knowledgeable, he's personable and we had a lovely conversation about wines, regions and notes. Last but definitely Not least, the general manager Richard always makes us feel like family. Hes an amazing host with a heart of gold. I wish i could give this place bonus stars. Oh i almost forgot to mention the fantastic live music and stunning ocean view. Love love love."

"We reserved a table for 2 at 8:45 for New Years Eve. We paid 390 for dinner and dancing and free champaign at midnight. We were sat on a screened in patio upstairs with another party of 4. It was a very small space with outside heaters. The screens were ripped and did not seal the room adequately. Water was coming in by the opening at the bottom of the curtain from the downpour outside. Through out dinner we had several servers and other employees try to fix the problem by using mops and towels. The water leak unfortunately was not fixed. But, the table of 4 was moved closer to us to avoid the flow of water coming through the screen, which was really the icing on the cake so to speak. No one asked if few would prefer another table, an apology for the inconvenience etc. The party of 4 was on the verge of being obnoxious after 2 rounds of pre dinner cocktails. My husband and I were speechless. Trying to keep our evening from being a total failure, we quickly finished our meal 600 with tip) and hit the dance floor. The dancing was great, the food was great. Our dinner experience was horrible. By far the worst experience dining we have ever had 60 or 600 without exception."
