"After a 3 year absence, having been rather disappointed by poor service on a previous visit, we decided to retry l'Auberge des Trois Canards for a family anniversary lunch. A beautiful day enabled us to eat in the garden, always a pleasure, and the low table occupancy, even on a Sunday lunchtime, enabled more than adequate and very correct attention from the front of house staff. The gourmet menu at 36 euros proved to be excellent value for money; we sampled a number of different dishes, none of which disappointed. A request for rice instead of the vegetables available proved no problem, unlike previous experiences. Lamb shanks (souris d'agneau) was particularly appreciated. A return visit is planned soon."
