"We had a rather mixed experience here, as the food was quite good, but the service was off and the portions were a bit small for the price point. We ordered the octopus appetizer and a pizza to share, as well as our own individual pasta entrees (between 3 people). Everything was delicious, especially the octopus. Our server, however, really dampened the experience for us by rushing us through the meal and taking plates away before we had even finished our food. There was no attempt to ask if we were done before removing our plates. As a result, were in and out of the restaurant in probably under an hour, which definitely felt very rushed. I don’t think I’d return, given all the other amazing Italian options in the city."

"Came here because we heard it was one of the best BYOBs in Philly. Bibou definitely didn’t disappoint. There were several highlights. The lobster and foie gras were really good. The soufflé to end the meal was amazing as well. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a great meal and said the dessert was my favorite but this time it just may be. The chef came over and chatted with us as well which was a nice touch. All in it was about $300 for meal/tax/tip for 2 people but completely worth it. Definitely check out Bibou!"

"Would not visit here again or recommend. I ordered a Jameson and water. My friend ordered a glass of wine. My drink came and was so watered down, it barely had a flavor. They told my friend that they were out of his wine choice. They were also out of his 2nd choice. He then ordered a Jameson and they had to run to the liquor store bc they were out. Our food was below standard. Over cooked and flavorless. After we had ordered drinks and food, our waitress gave us the drink and food specials?! Overall a poor experience."
