"The Factory has been around a long time. It carries a loyal clientele of repeat customers. I haven't been here in a long time . So this was my first time back in decades. No much has changed that I can tell.The restaurant is dated in terms of decor. The place is clean and in good repair. The booths are small for a party of four. The booth was cushy comfortable but uncomfortable because it was so tight. The staff was young and friendly and professional for the most part. The menu is one no page with enough choices to satisfy most parties of people. The prices weren't too bad in this hyper inflationary environment.We started with the table bread. It is kind of like a sour dough with a tad sweeter taste. The bread was a bit crunchy on the outside and a bit softer on the inside. Not bad with butter. Not outstanding though.I chose a side salad with my entree. The salad was fresh but very basic. Not much side veggies to give it pizzazz. The dressing seemed like a purchased item without much flare.My wife really liked the broiled fish and red skinned potatoes. The fish was nicely cooked.My other side was onion rings. I suspect that Halls shares this recipe across their facilities. The onion piece is a bit thin..too thin for me. The batter is a bit thin and very flaky. A tad bit of grease taste and maybe a little seasoning to break up the batter/grease flavor.The prime rib was very good. It was cooked nicelyto my medium rare choice. The beef had a good beef flavor without much fat content. It was served with a creamy horseradish sauce instead of a raw horseradish.Overall the Factory is a safe choice of good food. They have several larger meeting rooms that might be good for a rehearsal dinner or holiday party."

"Eating a nice big salad in the bar is a staple for my wife and myself. On the good side, the food is usually quite fresh and well-made. The service is usually very good and the management seems to be very attentive and responsive. My main problem with this restaurant is lack of consistency. If you order a black and blue salad you have no idea what?s going to show up. I brought it up to them but it never changes. It?s just a crapshoot what?s going to come out on the plate. Usually it taste quite good. The last time I was here it had really slipped and the food was not good at all but I?m hoping that?s just an aberration"

"We went here with a group of friends for a birthday. It was the first time I had been there. I had heard good things and expected more. The food: The food was decent. I got the walleye sandwich. It was good, but average. We had also gotten walleye fingers. Those were pretty decent. Others had gotten the salad bar, and that looked like the way to go. My gf got the crab cakes entree, which did include the salad bar. But at $25 it seemed over priced. Drinks: My gf got the house cab. It was pretty good and full-bodied. I got an old fashioned. It was horrible. I don't know if it's because I'm a little of a whiskey snob, but it just tasted really watered down. Almost like if you had a drink, drank it, let the ice melt, then try to top it off. I should've just ordered a neat whiskey. It would have been a safer bet. The service: Bad! It took over half hour for drinks. We added to the table and they didn't ask for anything or get new place setting or water or menu. No one checked to see how things were. It took over another half hour just to get checks. And that was after repeatedly requesting them. Overall: If not for the salad bar I would give one star. Not worth my money, and especially not worth my time. I won't be going back."

"Pick two is a deal if you can't decide I love their ultimate nachos and that French dip Angus roast beef was tender and delicious the sauce was ok it needed something I'm not sure what but it did, the bread was A1 so yummy. I haven't ate my cheetoos yet but for $2.50 the bag is small. that's why 4 and not 5 stars"

"Wonderful experience. Hubs and I were looking for a place to have our anniversary dinner that was “high end”… and I think we found it. Note: don’t miss the entrance to the lot. Only that one entrance goes to the little parking lot for the restaurant and it doesn’t connect to the ones past it. … we learned this the hard way. We were sat almost immediately with our reservation we had made. Very nice interior with an older Spanish hacienda theme. Their menu is on a dang cleaver! So clever. Side note: you know it’s a specialty place when their menu fits on a cleaver. They are really really good at those menu items. GIANT wine menu… which we ordered a wondrous Cabernet called Daou. A very smooth cab… highly recommended. Their water IS FILTERED. Any big water drinker knows this is important and shows class. We ordered the bacon wrapped artichoke hearts as a starter. The savory flavor of these… oh. My. Goodness. They are small, but the umami factor is INTENSE with these. I ordered the lobster bisque soup instead of the salad bar (which is open) with my New York Center cut steak. The dark bread that came with it and the sugar/cinnamon butter… mmm. So good. The bisque was beautifully hot and creamy… it was perfect temp. Not too hot or too cold. Very little lobster in it, but I also come from Maine where lobster is in recipes very liberally. The steak was UHH-MAAYY—ZING. Very nicely done… I ordered medium rare. Now, I’m a well fed woman who can and does cook a medium rare steak on a regular basis in a hot second on a cast iron skillet. This steak I received was medium rare on the outside edges and rare in the middle… just the way I like it. If there was an emoji showing perfecto where my fingers kiss my lips, it belongs right here. Hubby got the coffee crusted rib-eye with garlic sautéed mushrooms and baked potato… he inhaled that thing. Service with Jenna was awesome. Very friendly with a smile. Since it was our anniversary, we were graciously blessed with a mud cake (aka chocolate ice cream cake)… and oh my lord. "

"Had a good meal and service on 11 november 2022. we arrived on time for our reservation 4:30 just waited a few minutes to sit. server was professional and polite and attentive. the food arrived in time and was great! will definitely return to enjoy another meal."
