"A pochi chilometri dal centro di Gesrfeld, sorge quello che sembra quasi un rifugio, l'interessantissimo Waldgasthof Wachtküppel.In realtà è molto di più: qui si organizzano corsi e seminari (yoga, attività artistiche ed altro), ai piani di sopra c'i sono le stanze, ed al piano di sotto c'è il delizioso ristorantino, con anche tre o quattro tavoli all'aperto.La cucina è prevalentemente vegetariana, ma non solo: ci sono anche piatti di carne della tradizione.Specialità culinarie della cucina asiatica mischiate a quelle della tradizione tedesca creano un mix praticamente perfetto di sapori: i piatti principali costano intorno ai 9/13 euro e sono più che sufficienti per un pranzo completo. L'ambiente è raccolto, semplice, accogliente ed intimo.Le birre, come sempre da queste parti, ottime ed economiche.Il servizio eccellente. ps: chiedete il Rhön Reuber, il liquore a base di ruhm ed erbe tipico di queste parti, non ve ne pentirete."
