"One of the better meals we had. came to the breakfast and was not disappointed. the coffee was beautifully made with good aromen of the bores. we had the hearty French toast with black pudding, which was an interesting recording on the normal sweeter version. the brot was clear and interesting and good with the black pudding, the tasty and deviated from the stodgy versions that may sometimes appear. the stirrup was perfectly cooked, but under seasoned. accompanied with chorizo but made it extra special. the personal was friendly and attentive. hidden from the normal tourist opposite, but one to recommend."

"On a recent holiday in Hobart visited this fantastic restaurant" had the overnight slow cooked lame. For two. Absolutely amazing and the best my husband and I have ever eaten. Had the seasonal vegetables and chips. Serving were just right and all at high standard. The re were new staff on and just a little slow but the Manager (or maybe owner) kept things moving and was right on to all service. Would highly recommend this place as a must when visiting Hobart."

"Take coffee is good if you find down this end of the city. Food in a warm experience to a sad shadow. The service was never brilliant, but now is just sad. About low-priced small portions. Grief

"The outside of the Brooke Street Pier is stunning as is the seating area of the Bright Eyes Cafe. Signage was limited so it isn't clear the coffee shop is infact Bright Eyes until ordering the coffee as it was printed on the paper cup, if there is a sign we certainly missed it. The minimal style counter had a handful of food options to order, not inviting to have a pretzel with coffee early morning so only had the coffee. We ordered two coffees and were freezing cold as the big windows in the cafe area were open on a cold Hobart winter's day. It made us drink our coffees and go fast as it was too cold to stay seated there. The coffee was okay, not the best we've had and there was no sugar at the tables or at the counter, we returned to ask for it. Wouldn't return here we like to drink in coffee in glass or ceramic, paper cups are for takeout and it didn't match the gloss of the location and serving coffee just doesn't taste the same in paper cups so didn't find anything special at all about this place unlike the write up gives it."

"The Winston, a restaurant in the US, is really popular and attracts various demographies. Since it is so popular, it will be super busy and can sometimes be difficult to get a table. It is sometimes waiting for the food for an hour, but it's seriously worth it! The food on the Winston is so damn delicious - the corncob is amazing and tasteful, the southern chicken burger is a highlight and the Pilzer Burger (vegetarian) is also delicious and a must! I usually get cheesey chips with my burger for an extra $ 1. Meals are so massive that they are almost in a food koma of the delicacy until the end of their meal, and all meals are very reasonable at $ 20! These guys also know good beer and are open to chat with them about craft beers. The Winston is my absolute favorite place to go a refrigerated evening of food and beer with friends!"

"I am so surprised to read all bad reviews after eating tonight. I thought it was absolutely adorable. I was promptly greeted and sit with my friend. The service was efficient. We arrived at the end of the night and most of the other guests had eaten. My entree was delicious and it was great to be presented while sitting with pappadum and sauce. I had the cheese placora. Our currys came out in a very reasonable time frame. We had the Malai Kofta and the cheese tomato. Both dishes were delicious and I thought that was some of the best Indians I had. I think the rice is no cost for us, which was good too. No problems with the quality or waiting for the wine. I had the layered Prathha bread, which was delicious. I'm not sure that all the negative feed is back the child in the restaurant, it's nice to see a father who cares for your child and supports the mother with concern. It's nice to know that it knows a family-run / powered business and I thought it felt more authentic India feels, saw the family playing back. I would certainly dine again (and there are many vegetarian decisions). Please note that we do not eat meat."

"Went here for the second time as a solo diner. Waitress was lovely but needed to explain that you pay for the pappadums when they offer them when ordering your drink. Onion Bhaji for entree was a little dry but the lamb Punjabi Masala for main made up for it. It was deliciously fragrant and spicy. Great service and would definitely go back."
