"This place is the best of the best. Came in recently with my boyfriend, and we were both blown away by the flavor of their broth. If you know anything about pho, you know that the broth is the pho foundation. The whole dish depends on the quality and taste of it, and if it's not good or just so-so, the entire soup falls apart. Though one of the best things about a Vietnamese place like this is the huge plate of fixin's (often a mix of cilantro, culantro, bean sprouts, thai basil, lime, jalapeno, etc.) they bring as additions/accompaniments to your pho, you really shouldn't need or want to add much if the broth tastes right. The pho at Pho Da Cao tastes so good, you won't want to add almost anything for fear of setting off the awesome balance of flavors they've already created. Honestly, everything here was great. We started with a Thai Iced Tea to share. Theirs was better than any I've had at Thai restaurants. Then we got a couple of Vietnamese egg rolls for an appetizer. These were also great, and came with a tasty dipping sauce. All of it seemed freshly made. The egg rolls even looked hand-rolled, which is extremely rare. Then, of course, the pho arrived. I had Pho Ga (chicken), my boyfriend had Pho Dac Biet (a smorgasbord of beef cuts). Both were unique and delicious. Our experience was so good we left wishing we could eat there every day. Seriously, I can't recommend the place enough. Go to Pho Da Cao if you want the best pho you've ever had."
