"From the bat, let me start eating. Omg! One of the best Persian experiences I've ever had in Texas. We ordered three different dishes of rice and beef kebabs and also chicken cabob. Oh man all were delicious and delicious. Kebabs were all tender and juicy. Well done “Koch”. The interior design was kind of interesting and funny looking. It seems like a pretty little restaurant with limited tables for Dine in. The seats were not really comfortable. Let me mention that it was a little expensive not to be so much of a chic restaurant! But again, for food I recommend this place!"

"This is a nice place and loved the Decor. We had breakfast here for the first time earlier. The pancakes were too thick and big for our liking. Over all good breakfast. Good customer service and clean restaurant."

"Just passed and decided to try. A disappointing place in a Kroger Strip Mall. I tried the other Italian place a few doors down and it was not worth trying. But Hasta La Pasta was excellent! Order at the counter and bring your food to you. The Rapalla was delicious. Unlike goat cheese, but adds a nice turn. Very fast service and friendly staff. Come on!"

"If you love incredibly crispy and juicy Korean roasted chicken, very tasteful apron and sauces, and addicted to frits, Hoodadak is a must! We have tried both their Westheimer and Katy locations, and they are both excellent. The restaurant feels very casual and cozy, with a few references to South Korea on the walls and a line of beers on tap behind the orderer. The room is somewhat limited in comparison to its 2-storey Westheimer position, but still decent. We tried half their chicken and chicken wings in two flavors: soy-garlic and spicy. All foods are always made to order so it comes to piss you hot (we practically burn us every time because we do not stop eating), but that means that it also usually takes 20-30 minutes to be so patient. It's definitely worth waiting. From the 4 times we visited, the chicken is consistently crispy and juicy, the frits have a crisp appearance and soft inside, and everything is perfectly seasoned. Soy-Garlic sauce is addictive, definitely our favorite taste. The spicy apron is great and actually quite spicy similar / easy spicier as Nongshim ramen packages. Esther and I are a little divided by the sauces that come with the chicken: I thought that the spicy Mayo sauce and ranch are good, but nothing special, especially for adding something extra humidity, but the food is so well seasoned that you don't really need it. Esther found her a great addition to the meal."

"Hasta la Pasta has been in Katy as long as I can remember. We went in recently though and the visit was much different, and for the better!First off, they have completely changed the inside and separated the dine in area into two separate rooms. The original atmosphere is still there on one side, and then the other side is more open, more well lit, and self service Now this might seem odd, but it's genius. You go the counter and order your food, then go get your own drinks, then when the food is ready they bring it out to you! So you don't have a waiter or waitress, you just go in and order what you want and voila a much quicker experience.As for the food, just as good or even better than before. We had a meatball pizza which was cooked perfectly; thinner crust and healthy amount of toppings. And we had the chicken picata; which was probably one of the best chicken picatas I have ever had and the portion was very generous. Most Italian restaurants will bring you a frail looking chicken, but this one was large and amazing.All in all a great visit to a local tradition and we are definitely looking forward to going back soon.
