"We have been customers of this place since it opened. I remember a time when the food was great. They would never have given us food that was not high quality. Over the last year, the place has slowly one downhill. We just paid $80 for a carryout order. Fish and chips was fine. Side salad barely covered the bottom of the container. Wedge salad was not fresh. I got no dressing. The toppings were not appetizing, and mostly red onion. I ordered extra crab meat or my soup."

"What an absolute delight to stop by Madrones for dinner. Crab dip appetizer was heavenly. Chips and pretzel stix gave a nice variety of textures. House chop salad expertly dressed. Full rack of ribs, sweet potato casserole and grilled asparagus for my buddy was in his words- 'the best in the area. ' I had the Cowboy-cut Ribeye with a Gorgonzola sauce and loaded baked potato. Finally a restaurant that can cook a steak perfectly Medium. Tha Strawberry Cheesecake was absolutely excellent. Nice atmosphere with dim dinner lighting. Plenty of Tv 's to watch some Baseball. The Staff were superb!! I cannot say enough about the staff, they really made the experience next level. Now going to be a main-stay in the rotation of Frederick restaurants."
