"We have been twice in the last 2 weeks ... which describes how much we love Metro 8. The porcini mushroom noodles are my favorite along with steak and tuna. The vegetables are always so fresh and cooked perfectly. The salads are crispy and properly dressed and the wine list is huge and delicious. Perfect for dates, girls' nights or special occasions. Correctly priced for the top quality food you get. Better steaks than Angus Barn, better pasta than Maggianos and much cheaper. The terrace is our favorite dining space, but the tables inside are super romantic. We will no doubt be back soon. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, top bar and wine list and food in the region to celebrate small business ... all my favorite things! Parking is so much easier than downtown Durham and we love the taste of 9th Street. The desserts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious."

"Only one sandwich was correct. The 2nd sandwhich was completely wrong. The store took 1hr and 15 minutes to prep the food. The tots were soggy cold and undercooked."

"Food is always great here! Chicken tenders are great and never had a bad salad there.Our server today was very unpleasant, but I will write that off as her just having a bad day- because that is not my usual experience at J Alexander. Went to the bar to order our carrot cake to go. Bar tender was quick and attentive and the carrot cake is to die for, as always!"

"They claim to have the best fish and chips in the usa, and in that they did not disappoint. this British pub has amazing service, eating and ambiente and I recommend this place in gulch. we have the Scotch eggs, the suppe of the day and the fish and chips for food together with the gin and tonic. the scotch eggs were well cooked and fresh, a little dry for my pleasure, but a sauce accompanied solved my problem. the fish and chips were huge and crispy and, according to me, were a 10/10. Their suppe of the day - the chicken curry suppe was also decent. overall, this place is a great place to meet friends and family. they also have an outside seat that is a plus! go for: the pub nashville"
