"It was dismaying that on a recent visit to Shiraz my first and last the establishment presented us with an intentionally misleading bill, devised to confuse patrons into paying double tip. This restaurant automatically charges an 18 service fee on the bill we were a party of 3 . This usually would not be that big of a deal, save that our waitress could not have seemed less interested in our party. She forgot to put in one diner's meal, only noticing when she brought everyone else's entree. She didn't even apologize for this. Later, we would have ordered desert but we couldn't get her attention even though we were the only diners in the restaurant. When the bill came, we noted the 18 fee and gave the waitress 2 credit cards to split the bill. When our receipts came back to sign they read Pre tip total with a line. Our waitress did not bring us back the original bill so we had to ask for it again. Upon examination, the pre tip total was in fact the after tip total. Straight up deceptive billing practice. When this was brought to our waitress' attention, she met the info with a bored shrug. TLDR: Food is unremarkable, service bad, billing deceptive."

"Owner is a big guy and his staff is very friendly. Food is great. He always takes care of me when I command them. Always give its customers garlic bread and a bottle of soda on the house. Great place and property!"

"We ordered wings the night before Thanksgiving and they were absolutely delicious. However, I woke up the next morning extremely sick. Coming out both ends. Way to ruin a Thanksgiving. ????"

"Worst deep dish pizza i've ever had.....the crust was tough and all the edges were burned...didn't taste like pizza dough at all....all i could taste was tomatoes....tasted like they dumped a big can of uncooked tomatoes on top of the whole pizza....had to fish for any ingredients especially the cheese.....the menu said loads of cheese.....it was there somewhere but pretty tasteless.......I had a bad experience with their pizza after they first opened but thought its been a few years would give them a try again.......Never again............"

"For more than 20 years we have come to the happy garden. It is a small mother and pop Chinese takeout shop. Great service, good food. The restaurant share was opened a long time ago, but not for a few years, especially now in the post COVID world where we live. 5 stars for consistently good food, we have since drawn from Watertown, but we drive 30 minutes to get the great food they serve. I highly recommend it."
