"This is one of my favorite area restaurants to dine at — especially if a friend comes into town for lunch. I always order the cauliflower fritters — crispy on the outside and hot and creamy inside with a dusting of Parmesan and a buttery spread. For lunch, I enjoy the station shrimp and grit cake on the small plates menu. I don’t usually eat a large meal at lunch and this portion is ample for me. The five shrimp are skewered and grilled and they are served with a tomato vinaigrette and a white butter sauce along with the grit cake. In other parts of the country, the grit cake would be called fried polenta. No matter what you call it, it’s always delicious!"
