"Ten friends and I dined in De Villle's Restaurant, Dalkey, on Saturday the 20th of August, 2022. As a large group we had a special area in the restaurant which suited our needs perfectly. We were allocated a waiter by the name of Herb to our table for the whole evening. He was attentive, charming and looked after us in a professional manner. From starters, main course to desserts everyone was able to select from an extensive menu. The feed back from everyone the next day was that they all had a superb meal and enjoyed themselves tremendously in a very atmospheric restaurant. We will certainly be back again. "The Food was absolutely superb. The decor second to none and our reserved table in a great setting. Unfortunately the service was appalling from start to finish our monosyllabic waiter obviously uninterested and rude starting by checking his watch when we asked very much in time for the early bird it went from bad to worse a real shame."
