"Not the first time here and it's a good local neighborhood bar. They have a ton of outdoor seating, in front, on the side and a large curb side shelter as well. Lots of craft beer on tap and full menu. Service was prompt, hostess seated us outside right away and server was right over. They brought a water dish for my dog. I did feel the mozzarella sticks were pretty skinny but I guess those are the times. Overall great place for a brew and food."

"Jack Doyle’s is very close to NY Penn Station. There are game day pitcher specials. The chicken quesadilla looked good. There were very few mozzarella sticks in the $10 order, only 4-5 total."

"I’ve been lucky to have dined here four or five times over 20 years, most recently two days ago. If anything, it has gotten even better. The food (pork chops, Amish chicken, sweet potato fries, onion soup) were perfectly prepared. Quiet, conversational level of hustle and bustle and the pianist/singer added just the right touch of intimacy. I hope my next visit will be soon."

"I did not like the place at all but mainly because of poor service and overpriced dishes (value for money wise). The steaks are ok but nothing more than that and do not justify their high prices. Our server was pushy, spoke extremely fast and was hard to understand and when asked for specific recommendations he just recommended the entire menu so this was not helpful at all. The waiter had a new trainee on his first day and he was just fantastic. The restaurant was pretty empty in the evening which kind of gave a feeling that we were not in the right place. All in all, we didn't like it but maybe someone else will..."
