"I stopped in by myself for a quick breakfast. Service was friendly and prompt, the place was nice and clean. I had the mini egg breakfast and asked for no meat. So one egg, toast, and they put a slice of watermelon and a slice...of orange on each end of the oblong plate. This was $6.00. I had a cup of coffee and didn't want refills. This was $1.75. So my whole very small breakfast was $8.75. I will continue to patronize other diners in Windsor where I get a bit of a better deal. (However, I do know from past visits that when you do order meat, they are very generous with it; perhaps they just need to clue in that customers who do not eat meat could be offered 50 cents off."

"Went for brunch yesterday, we sat in the laneway they have tables which are perfect. Food was outstanding and prices very reasonable. We did have to wait 45 for our food to come as they said they were backed up. Would not have stayed if we knew in advance. Not sure if the whole restaurant industry is suffering due to lack of staff."

"This is an amazing restaurant that I frequent often. The kitchen puts out great food and the restaurant is a force for good in the community. The atmosphere is great and it pulls off small town diner quite well.Their staff is typically quite good, especially during the week. Today was a different story. Our waiter came only after someone else took our drink order, and seemed far more preoccupied with doing busy work than actually waiting on our table. He did not bring our food. He did not do a check back. He did not bring the bill. He was utterly unconcerned with providing competent service of any kind. The only two people who seemed to take any meaningful notice of our table were young Indian man they had bussing tables and the kind lady from the kitchen.The kitchen did their job. It's a damn shame that front of house didn't seem at all worried about doing theirs."
