"My review relates to the hotel restaurant, the hotel I have stayed in many years ago,and when my friends, and I arrived for our joint birthday celebration I was positivelyamazed on how much one can improve an establishment. 2015 was our 4th annualcelebration, and it was one of the best, this restaurant just gets better every year.(we do visit more than once a year) The food is excellent, service exemplary,surroundings perfect. The menu leans towards gourmand, but any age and tastecould be catered for. There is a good cellar, and regional dishes are popular.On the last visit we were the only group, but Saturday lunch is not the most popularwith the locals in our area so it was to be expected, but we were not complaining, we had our own staff!"
