"We recently bought a property in Biron v much want to support our neighbouring businesses if and when we can. We have dined twice at the auberge. The food is good, regional fayre, served by very helpful staff who work hard to please. There...is a good choice of wines too and whether you eat outdoors on the terrace or indoors, the ambiance is very pleasing. Of course the setting is fab, right in the courtyard of the chateau itself, which offers a certain ‘frisson’ if you take yourself back in time. We cannot fault the food, service or setting. The prices are very reasonable and we would recommend the auberge without hesitation. We suspect not enough people have tried it yet, and some of the reviews have not been particularly favourable. We strongly urge others to try this lovely, unpretentious restaurant. It is not fine dining but does not pretend to be. This place is a gem which we’d really love to keep to ourselves. However, it truly deserves to be trumpeted others need to sample its delights. You will eat well and enjoy the experience. What more can anyone ask for?"
