"This is about as close as someone can get to homemade French food at a restaurant. When I go back to the US, I will really miss the kind people who work here as well as the food and service. They are open for lunches Monday through Friday (I don 't know about the weekends), with a fixed menu (entree, plat, dessert) which have 2 or more options for each at a very reasonable price. I usually get just an entree, plat, and coffee but occasionally (like today) do them all. You will want to call for a reservation because it fills up on most days. They speak some English so they understand reservation and the number of people. For me, this restaurant really gave me a valuable impression and education of French food. There is a reason I tried to go at least once per week!"

"Been a few times, never disappointed. Really recommend the carpaccio du beuf. Pizzas made fresh, and cooked in wood fire, nice terrace for the warm evenings. Best to book as can get busy."

"Eating here is rustic French art, but I enjoyed everything I had so far. they offer only a plate (primary court), free (starter) plate, plate dessert or all 3 on a fixed price midday menu. there are two choices for the...street, plate and dessert every day and they are made fresh . . even though they once heated the rest of a previous day when I could not eat either dish on the menu! the types of dressed I enjoyed here included truthahn in a tomato sauce with cousin, lenses with meat (can not remember special meat), roasted chicken with kartoffeln and a few others. there is only a court that seemed to my American taste buds a small gland. the desserts were all spectacular, including chocolate mousses (made with only plucked eggs and melted chocolate hands down the best, fluffiest mousse I ever had), chocolate bern cake (not excessively sweet, but that brought the taste of the pears more), and a earthy rhubarb tea. the couple of appetizers I tried were also very good, although I originally eaten there some time and again lately."

"An unexpected place! Very good atmosphere (but the music was too strong,) and above all, incredible decorative success, in the center of this quiet village...To crown everything, the map of beers - all craftsmen - is magnificent (we find some Belgians, in addition to French). Crying salted on the cake: the flamekueche is very good (one for two has enough us.) pizza, which does not look bad either, will be for the next time:)"

"Small break in love with a drink and we were very pleasantly surprised by a warm atmosphere, a tasteful decoration and a very pleasant patronage. In short if you want to have a drink in the corners, don't hesitate!"
