"Coq au Vin wears many chef's hats well. As a breakfast restaurant, it will serve up a fresh and tasty two eggs, bacon, potatoes, fruit, toast and endless coffee feast for under $5.00 (before tax and tip), but you can get full variety in pancakes, omlettes, and fancy crepes. Lunch specials are hearty, reasonably priced and feature both home style dishes (chicken pot and shepherds pies, etc.) and creative surprises (try the portobello mushroom veggie burger). Evenings get a little fancier. The signature coq au vin is both flavourful and hearty. Beer and wine are available for the thirsty, and the service is very friendly."

"Today my friends dropped in at the L'Oeufrier for it's reopening with it's new owner . The interior has been revamped with barn wood, soothing dove grey walls along with some artistic liberties with the side wall.We were welcomed as long lost friends with hugs. There is a good choice for both lunch and breakfast on their new menu and a selection of the day's specials on the chalk board.Some ordered the pasta with rosee sauce and ham, one ordered the smoked meat hamburger and I the salad.The pasta portion was generous and my friends loved it! The hamburger looked really good and it tasted good as well. My salad was fresh, generous a mixture of different greens, tomato, cucumber and chicken...yummyI ordered the Italian soup...it was a bit cold for my taste and there was no issue to get it warmed up. It was very tasty as well.Prices for lunch...soup, main and desert varied from 8.95 to 9.95..really an excellent value. Joanne served us, she was attentive, friendly and provided a super service...May the new owner have many years of success...we will be back."

"A young cashier greeted me with a mouthful of sub in my mouth. She didn 't respond to me when I greeted her. She seemed like she didn 't want to be there. She even let out a very strangely exasperated oh my god while she was preparing my food. In short, very average service for a purchase of 2 subs and 3 cookies for $43! (we are far from 12 inches for $5). In short, if you are the owner of the franchise and you want to remain profitable, make sure to explain basic etiquette to your employees (small note, the date of this review agrees with my unpleasant experience)."
