"The food, service and atmosphere are great. I only wish the menu was a little more extensive. A filet mignon, stuffed shrimp, chicken teriyaki dishes on the menu would be great. Also, I wish the server would mention the specials. Excellent restaurant. The bar is very slow for table service, the wait for a drink is like 15 or 20 minutes."

"I asked for no salt in my pommes and what I got was old kicked her hard and dry and my nuggets same thing old, dried and cold lazy bad def with manager tomm talking and I asked for simple extra mayo (i didn’t even get reg amount of mayo on sandwich took pic so) on my original chicken sandwich and was not."

"We always go to the same restaurant in Connecticut. We sometimes go for lunch, sometimes for dinner. We go twice a week. We make sure we get Crystal as our server. She is the best she rocks from the park, with service and kindness and Longhorn knocks it out of the park with delicious food every time. Definitely recommend for good quality food for a good price."

"Bad experience. they are trying to run the game on me and the failed lol. will later give a try and update this review based on it. hopefully they take this as a learning experience and improve service and eat and drink. all three are bad now. the Latin girl was not good at all. we build the wall."

"Knowing I wanted to try this place, I decided yesterday for lunch, would be great! My 13 year old daughter was not wanting to go. I offered to let her stay in the car, knowing sh wouldn't. Walking in, we were greeted by Tanya, who was wonderful! The atmosphere is so welcoming! The decor is beautiful and homey. My daughter ordered the chicken quesadilla with a side of potato salad. I ordered the lemon garlic chicken, over tomato orzo (I don't like lemon chicken...I felt a need to try this , with a cup of the soup of the day, beef vegetable (something I never order or buy! . My daughter and I loved the soup so much, we ordered another to go! Our meals were amazing! Everything if fresh from scratch/homemade! Something to keep in mind, tell them the amount of tip you would like to add, prior to them processing your debit/credit. I didn't know this prior to paying and felt awful. So, to rectify this, we went back for dinner and brought more people! I had the Philly steak and cheese omelette (breakfast served all day! , with home fries and rye toast (homemade bread! . Daughter had a Caesar salad and cup of the soup again. Mom and her boyfriend ordered the meatloaf special served with mashed potato and carrots. They too were incredibly impressed and will be back! Mark's is a true gem in Thompsonville!"

"For Love and Food is a pretty great little cafe! It's not a boring fast food chain, or a greasy spoon with typical diner food. It's owned and operated by a creative chef who seems to really love what she does, and she does it well. It's a clean, quaint place with ample parking and ample seating indoors and outdoors (when weather permits). The menu changes, as it should, but the favorites are always available."

"First time there this weekend , referred by friends. Food was great , pricing was very reasonable , and even though they were very very busy , our waiter was super patient with my 9 year old son who could not decide what he wanted. He even took a moment to check out what dragon my son had just slayed in a game on his ipod. Everything was great !"
