"There was about 25 of us in the group we came in. The staff was prepared and friendly, quick to get our orders in and food out. There were little to no mistakes and everything came out hot and delicious! Very pleased with the hospitality and service as well as the quality of the food that was served. The restaurant itself was clean, bathrooms were large in size, but only for one person to use at a time. Overall, rated 5 stars because it's worth the visit. Honestly didn't know it was there until my family made the reservation for breakfast."

"Wagon Wheel Pizza- Palm Bay, FL- 3 Stars Doubling checking my destination, I steeled myself to go OTB (over the bridge) and into the urban sprawl that has become Palm Bay, FL. As anyone who is a consistent reader of the Big Boy Dining Out reviews knows I am not a huge fan of fast-food Italian, though I understand it serves a niche for families looking for a non-gourmet dining experience well within the family budget. However, I was looking forward to my next destination of Wagon Wheel Pizza in Palm Bay, FL. Wagon Wheel has been around in one location or another for around 37 years now and as such is somewhat of a local icon. It is comforting to know it has remained in the same family all this time and the current captain (Keith Elwood) is the son of the founder. Keith and his staff are obviously following all post-Covid protocol as the place was spotless and gave off a welcoming aura. My waitress for the meal introduced herself as Marilyn, while she may be just a bit above your average waitstaff age, she performed her job with speed, charm and efficiency. I asked Marilyn for one Sausage and pepper sub, 10 hot wings and their 4 cheese Ziti. While I waited for my order I kicked back and soaked up the relaxing, pleasant atmosphere I found within Wagon Wheel. Marilyn was soon seen returning and so I readied my implements of epicurean destruction as well as my palate. As you can see by the pictures the food looked like your average American-Italian fare. Nothing fancy here, just down to Earth entry-level grub. The Sausage and Pepper sub was unexpectedly better than I thought it was going to be. I was expecting pre-cut frozen Sysco bottom of the barrel and instead found myself enjoying a mid-grade sausage on a squishy fresh roll. It hit my palate with oodles of flavor and finished nicely. The order of 10 hot wings certainly looked delicious and I was looking forward to sampling them. I found the wings to be plump and juicy with a sauce that said, “Hello! I'm spicy!” While I prefer my wings a little more done than these were, they were fine and I would certainly order them again. The 4 cheese ziti while runny was moderately flavorful. It is not the best, by far but is good for an average family meal. The only real drawback here was the side salad and accompanying french fries. It was nothing special as it was made of iceberg lettuce, freshly sliced onion, canned black olives, pepperoncini and a tomato wedge plopped on the side. Some of the lettuce was from the last of the head, one can tell by the way it looks, but overall it was OK. I do love me some pepperoncinis. The fries were not fresh and rather tasteless. Though cooked to a perfect golden hue and tender on the inside, there have to be better frozen options out there. All in all, it was unremarkable, but exceedingly well executed in its simplicity. You won't get anything fancy here, but then they don't pretend otherwise. The Big Boy says, “If your looking for an affordable, decent meal for a for a night out with the family this is the perfect place for you.”"
