"Filthy weather, a bank holiday weekend, and yet . . . the welcome and food experienced here was a delight. Hadn't booked. Lucky to arrive early. Portions were large, and well presented, and the chef seemed anxious to explain what was special on the day. The mussels served up were the best I've had for years, and set the tone for the rest of the meal."

"As a Turkish teacoholic, I found AuGout'The is amazing place to sit down and try great selection of the tea. My favourite is Thé Imperial! Also pasty is mouth-watering. Such an enjoyable place to spend time in tiny Revel. I highly recommend!"

"Nice ambiance and decent food. But the service ruins the experience. It was a very busy Sunday lunch, but the wait staff seemed to go out of their way to be rude. When our bottle of rosé arrived, the waiter practically smashed it on our table and then ran off. After 5mins of trying to get his attention for some wine glasses, he returned in a huff and announced there were no more glasses and we'd have to wait. Would not return to this restaurant unless they retrained all their staff in customer service."

"On a two-day hike with my friend (both females and we stayed here for 1 night. We booked in a few days before the hand, but it was so much space if we had not booked. For somewhere in the mountains, this is a great place to stay. We brought our own food. There are no cooking options, apart from a sink, some plates and cutlery, so if you are catering for yourself, you are recommended to bring your own equipment. We slept in a room with two bunk beds and a single bed. A little squish! And we shared a room with a man I wasn't sure about because there weren't many people in the place where it would have been nice if they had placed us in different rooms, but overall there was no problem. A blanket and a pillow are available, but bring your own sheet to sleep, i.e. I took a blanket and slept in it and then put the blanket on me. Cleaning facilities are good with working toilets, sinks and a shower that costs 3 € for 5 minutes warm water (we simply went without and cleaned in a lake the next day! . The dining area is sweet with many tables and benches, some cards and games and French books. The staff is attentive and friendly and made a great hot chocolate! I would recommend a stay here and although we had no food there, the foods that were served by the other residents look very good with large portion sizes. And even if you don't stay at night, serve drinks and food for lunch with sitting outside and an outside toilet. The refuge is easily recognizable and surrounded by sheep in pastures - absolutely stunning."
