"Questo hotel era da noi apprezzato per accoglienza e cibo. Come al solito abbiamo prenotato una notte in questo hotel e, a parte aver scoperto che la nostra prenotazione era stata cancellata, ( errore umano, sistemato in altro modo), ciò che più ci ha disturbato è stato il cibo pessimo. Abbiamo ordinato i piatti tipici che per altro ci ricordavamo cucinati in modo eccellente, ma questa volta una gran delusione. Forse cambio gestione?"

"Although we arrived at this restaurant on a very wet day, and we were the only customers, we were treated to a lovely and inexpensive traditional Auvergne lunch of local hams, truffaude and salad. Washed down with the local aperitif and wines. The owner, a delightful lady, explained how the truffaude was made, the types of cheeses used and generally put up with our awful French in a friendly way. The restaurant is situated in an old building with a fabulous ancient fireplace and bar, great old French wooden furniture and we were sorry it wasn't quite cold enough for the fire to be lit I am sure the atmosphere on a cold winters day would be brilliant love to go back then and see!"
